Merry Christmas from MorningStar/CMM Missions

We are ever thankful for our faithful missionaries, our precious donors, our  staff, numerous volunteers, interns, MSU students, many intercessors, prayer partners, board members, and fellow believers who partner with CMM and MorningStar to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We all wish you a Merry Christmas, and may 2012 be another year where you draw closer to the Lord than ever before.

This year saw countless salvations, healings, deliverances, rededications, new churches, schools, and many new travelers from many churches and backgrounds come together in unity while giving passionately and sacrificially to see one more soul enter the Kingdom of Heaven in many nations around the world.
We now have more volunteers and interns working in missions to help equip,  strengthen, pray and prophesy, both by Internet and in person here at Heritage International Ministries, where the MorningStar/CMM headquarters are located.

This year we welcomed many new awesome missionaries, revivalists, and mobilizers on fire for the Lord to see “His kingdom come, on earth, as it is in Heaven.” Matthew 6:10.  We invite you to stop in for a visit to the campus when you are near Charlotte.  The excitement and anticipation of many visitors from all over the world coupled with the many conferences hosted by MorningStar, under Rick Joyner’s leadership, make this campus one of the most exciting locations in the whole world, waiting for what the Lord will do next. All the staff, volunteers and students of MSU are ready to welcome you when you come.

With God’s heart for unity and the urgency of the end times, we thank God for the rich legacy of CMM: from the great vision of Sidney Correll, touching lives in almost 100 nations to descendants of Nate Saint, Derek Prince, and many more surrendered lives now partnering with MorningStar Ministries, bringing God’s global family of passionate believers and followers of Jesus together to win the lost and help the hurting and hungry experience the fullness of God’s love.

We are banding together with many folks in many nations as part of the growing family of God in all the earth to help fight systemic poverty and reach into every sector of society with the love of God.  We are standing strong in the Kingdom

that can not be shaken. Though more and more nations are experiencing a shaking like never before, it is time for God’s global army to stand together in unity and be focused on the Father’s heart and His business at hand, keeping Jesus as our main focus, not the enemy, the news, the economy or the governments of man.

The big news this year is we have been able to help Haiti Missions member Pastor Astrel Vincent with hundreds of volunteers and millions in resources since the earthquake almost one year ago.

Even this month in Haiti we are daily providing 100,000 gallons of safe, filtered water, as well as water hygiene training and and 25,000 doses of cholera medicine.

While many may be struggling with finances–—especially our missionaries living by faith–—we also see waves of God’s glory increasing during the trials. “As sin abounds, grace does abound more.” (Romans 5:20.)
We are pleased to announce our recent annual filing for CMM states that 94% of all giving in the last year has gone directly to the mission field. We are thankful to all our generous donors and prayer partners. We can not do any of this without your help, in prayer and your sacrificial giving. You will share the same blessings as if you had gone to these far away difficult places to share the love of God. We are a holy team hungry for the Lord to touch millions of lives each year.

Will you pray and consider about giving a year-end special one-time gift of any amount to help us advance the Kingdom in reaching unreached people groups?

Please let us know if you would like one of our itinerant speakers or prophetic and dream interpretation teams to visit your church in person, by Skype call (704-225-3927) or by email. officecmm@gmail.com

We pray you are having a great holiday season. If you are one of many who struggles with Thanksgiving and Christmas and bad memories or past hurts, please call our office and we have gracious, sensitive prayer workers to pray for you. As you may recall, CMM partners with MorningStar Ministries, founded by Rick Joyner, since 2009. Part of MorningStar’s global reach is ZAO Water, providing hygiene training, springs, and wells in Africa, India and now Haiti. We want to let you know about the many varied things your Missions connection is involved in globally. You can read more about ZAO at www.zaowater.com .  We will be sending out our year end Christmas letter and newsletter in the next ten days.

Letter From Rick

This is a personal update on our ZAO Life Project. A little over a year ago, I became concerned that we were not seeing the kind of spiritual fruit in salvations and churches being planted in the regions we were focusing on in Africa. Download PDF or  CLICK HERE to read more >

MorningStar Missions Vision Statement: MorningStar/CMM has over 500 missionary leaders in the field around the world under our covering. Some of these have been used to raise up hundreds of churches under them, as well as schools, orphanages, and relief training bases. Our goal is to add many of the most effective, high-impact missionary teams and base support to this growing and powerful missionary force and to network with other missions to see the Great Commission fulfilled and the gospel of the kingdom preached in every nation. Because the mandate to “go into all the world” (see Mark 16:15) is not just geographical, we are also raising up missionaries to go into all of the dominant areas of influence in society such as government, business, education, the media, the entertainment industry, sports, prisons, and so forth. MorningStar's ZAO Life Project has been a vital part of our mission strategy, which has provided and developed many wells and other fresh water sources in Africa. ZAO is now expanding into Haiti, India and South America, as well as providing basic hygiene training for people in remote areas of developing nations. This is vital to the health of a country. CMM is the official missions arm of MorningStar.

Mission Base Is Designed To Be:

• A state of the art Communications Center for planning, directing and supporting our missionaries and teams in the field, as well as deploying Disaster Response Teams.
• Special Forces Missions Training facilities
• A local church serving the families of our missionary force
• A conference center for missions conferences and building strategic alliances with other missions, organizations, and churches
• A resting and equipping place for missionaries on furlough
• Facilities to be used for children’s youth camps with a missions theme during the summer

Development Plan:

• Construction Phase I: The main 24,000 sq. ft. meeting facility is about 50% complete and has been “dried in.” Phase I will include the completion of the main meeting hall for approximately 750 people, offices, lounge/coffee shops, etc. on the main floor.
• Construction Phase II: Phase II will include the completion of all classrooms and situation and communications rooms.
• Construction Phase III: Phase III will include the housing for base instructors, workers and missionary families.
• The MorningStar Missions Base completion will be a project of MFM/MFC under the leadership of Tom Hardiman, with the goal of multiplying all resources donated to project by supplementing with donated materials and labor.
• Construction manager is Nathan Plowman, working under GC, Randy Strombeck.
• Financial oversight and funding provided through MorningStar/CMM Missions

YOU can share in the blessings of impacting the nations of the earth. The MorningStar Global Missions Base is dedicated to the Lord in helping fulfill the Great Commission impacting individuals, communities, and nations for the cause of Christ and for His glory.

Flash Point: Guatemala

Major Roadblocks Overcome

Angie and Jason Christman, CMM/MS missionaries to Guatemala know what it is like to deal with obstacles. The recent teachers’ strike has made transportation almost impossible in some areas as they block roads with huge boulders and hordes of people. The Christmans deliver 200 meals of fresh produce and meat over a two week period, along with the love of Christ, to several feeding centers for the poor. On their recent delivery, they encountered a blockade which had all traffic stopped. Angie prayed as Jason approached the obstacle. Before long a reporter was interviewing him and he was allowed to speak with the head teacher. As if in a movie, theirs was the only vehicle allowed through that day, as people worked to move the huge boulders aside and let them pass.

Major Challenges in Naranjo

Sister Sidia experienced a great tragedy when the truck her husband was riding in careened down a mountainside. He was killed and his co-pastor’s back was broken, as they were returning from an envangelistic outreach. As a result, their feeding center was shut down and Sister Sidia is now pastoring the church. The Christmans delivered food to this very needy community to help fill in the gap, while they deal with the grief of a funeral and the passing of their leaders. Sister Sidia is in the white in the middle of the picture above; Please pray for her and the community, as they recover and care for the survivors. Pictured here on the left is a family who depends on the feeding center. The family to the right lives in a lean to, one wall of which is black plastic and the others are mud. They have been reduced to these living conditions as a result of their home being washed away. Only $4,000 would build a dry, safe home for this fatherless family. The Christmans drive on roads that are regularly filled with obstacles taking hours to remove, to bring the Love of the Father & His provision to families like these.

Madelyn Can See

Madelyn suffers from a unusual eye condition that takes special glasses to correct. God moved on the heart of a donor in the States, to pay for having the glasses custom made for her. The glasses were then sent to Houston to catch a plane with some missionary friends to bring them to Guatemala. In the meantime, Angie and Jason Christman, CMM/ MS missionaries, helped transport Madelyn from her home in a mountain village, where they first ministered to and met her, to the rendezvous point. We praise Him for His loving provision for this little one. The Christmans disciple many Eastern Guatemalan pastors through in-home training sessions, bringing spiritual depth and unity to the churches. Please pray for them as they overcome seemingly impossible obstacles in a land of great beauty, but also great need.

Salvation: The Most Precious Gift!

J. and Y. M. minister in one of the most difficult areas of India, due to the persecution of Christians by Hindus. Our CMM/MS missionaries’ main focus is leading the lost in this area to Jesus. Recently, they preached the Gospel to a
strong, but very young, Hindu couple, who then gave their lives to the Lord. The husband was delivered from smoking, drinking and beating his wife. For the first time in their married life, peace reigned in their house. Here is a picture of the wife being baptized. She changed her name to Ruth. Not long afterwards, Ruth died from an HIV infection. Please pray for the husband and the children as they step out in their new found faith. May the darkness be pushed back in India.

The Work of the Father is to Believe

Many around the world agree that the world’s problems are beyond human remedy. If we are not sure in what we believe, our families, and our very lives are at a great risk of falling away. We encourage you to rest in the peace of God, knowing that Jesus intercedes night and day on our behalf. We are in the time of the church’s greatest hours and it will get better as the glory of God shines on us more and more. In John 14:12 Jesus says, “He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also, and greater works than these will he do, because I go to my Father.” During the last 40 years it is said that more people have come to Jesus than in all of history combined. There are trials, persecutions and tribulations coming, but the battle of the ages is in God’s hands. Go forth with great faith, boldness and courage , and take the nations to glorify our God.

Join us on a missions trip; help us drill wells; plant schools and churches; send others out. You will receive the same reward as those on the front lines.

He is our all in all. Blessings,
Jorge Parrott
