Let's Go Outside
by Jorge Parrott, Missions Director
Jesus was crucified outside the city gates. That is where his blood was spilled to cleanse his people. In Hebrews 13:13-16 (MSG version) we read, “So let's go outside, where Jesus is, where the action is—not trying to be privileged insiders, but taking our share in the abuse of Jesus. This "insider world" is not our home. We have our eyes peeled for the City about to come. Let's take our place outside with Jesus, no longer pouring out the sacrificial blood of animals but pouring out sacrificial praises from our lips to God in Jesus' name.
16Make sure you don't take things for granted and go slack in working for the common good; share what you have with others. God takes particular pleasure in acts of worship—a different kind of "sacrifice"—that take place in kitchen and workplace and on the streets.”
At the recent Partners weekend I was amazed by the increasing number of Partners who contacted me for an appointment to share their passion for the nations and their desire to be used by the Lord in teaching, training, imparting, praying, prophesying and partnering with our many missionaries in many lands and also opening up new territories as we receive many invitations from the global MorningStar Prophetic community. What a precious family we are! We appreciate our partners and friends and all the sectors of MorningStar catching a new fire for revival, miracles, signs and wonders. Our time is now!
As Rick Joyner has been speaking recently of sending out apostolic ministry teams to the nations we are just beginning to discern and assimilate the vision and unique position MorningStar has in helping fulfill the Great Commission. These initial faith reports and glimpses of God’s glory give us a great vantage point to new horizons full of hope.
Our faith is rising as we hunger and thirst for more of the Lord. Even in the midst of this global economic crisis places like Europe are experiencing amazing supernatural healings and encounters with the living God. The Holy Spirit loves chaos and is waiting for us to invite him as we speak ‘peace’ to the storms. We humbly and fervently desire to be God’s vessels of hope, glory, and peace releasing his prophetic destiny into many lives in the days ahead. The purposes and plans of God need you more than ever to help bring transformation in the lives of individuals, communities, regions, and nations.
